We think it’s safe to say Cory Booker has a lot on his plate these days.

Not only is the New Jersey senator in the running for the Democratic presidential nomination, it seems he’s already won the heart of one of Hollywood’s best-loved actresses.

Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker

TMZ spoke with Rosario Dawson on Thursday, and the Luke Cage star confirmed the rumors that she and Booker are dating.

“So far, wonderful,” the actress said of her relationship.

Not surprisingly, Dawson then revealed that she believes Booker would make an excellent president.

She was even rocking his campaign button when TMZ caught up with her at Reagan International Airport in D.C. (where she was presumably on her way to visit Booker).

When pressed about whether the two of them might be making a trip down the aisle soon, she demurred.

“I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much, who is so brilliant, and kind, and caring, and loving.” Dawson replied.

She may not be a politician’s wife yet, but she can certainly dode questions like one!

Rumors of a Booker-Dawson romance have been circulating ever since the senator revealed that he’s dating someone “special,” but declined to offer a name during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club.

“First of all, there’s two more years until I might fulfill this duty (being president). So give me some time. My girlfriend might listen to this,” Booker said when asked if he might become the first bachelor president since Grover Cleveland.

“Before I declare president, I’m dating somebody that’s really special.”

Booker and Dawson weren’t exactly secretive about their relationship in the days before their big reveal.

Last week, they were spotted getting close at a backstage party for the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.

“They were so cute together and seemed so flirtatious,” said one eye witness.

In 2017, there were reports of Booker dating Mindy Kaling, but that seems to have been the result of am jokingly flirtatious Twitter exchange.

As for Dawson, in 2016, she threw her support behind Bernie Sanders, but something tells us she’ll be stumping for Booker this time around.
